Well.... not true!

MIA: So Very Sorry!
Hey everybody,
I have been missing for a long time now, and I am aware that there have been promises of videos and such that have not come about. For that, I can only apologise - as it turns out, my video editing software is not compatible with my boyfriend's phone camera software, so I have had to give up on videos for now.
Due to snow and icy conditions, I have also been unable to get up to my round on Alexandra Terrace - the hill has been far too dangerous to risk taking my car up and carrying everyone's deliveries up the hill in the snow was also far too dangerous. I am going to attempt deliveries today by foot.
Also, due to lack of interest, and my inability to sell tickets due to snow and general bad weather, the raffle competition has been postponed until further notice.
Sorry again everyone :-(

C16 Delivery Has Arrived!
As the title says, C16 has arrived and I am in the process of sorting and packing everyone's orders. Sadly, I have been struck down with a cold, so I am not going to be delivering tonight unless otherwise arranged. I don't want to be giving anyone my germs now!
If you would like a reminder as to how much you owe, please give me a call or text and I will get back to you with all the details :-)
I have also sorted out my own haul. Tonight, I am planning on FINALLY making a little video, with the help of my lovely partner Mark and his Satio phone. I don't know what the quality will be like, but as my camcorder is still broken, it's the best I have. Hopefully I won't cough and sniff too much!
Haul!:
Diamond EDP (DEMO)
Glimmerstick Diamonds Black Ice (Back Order)
Glimmerstick Diamonds Brown Sugar (Back Order)
Glimmerstick Diamonds Emerald Glow (Back Order)
Snowman Mug with Chocolate Shaker Hat
Hello Kitty Necklace
Hello Kitty Bracelet

Campaign 17 Clearance Sale Picture Warning
Okay, on page 2 (inside cover) of the Campaign 17 clearance brochure, they are showing the Tigers Eye Limited Edition eyeshadow quad; shown below.
I would like to issue a warning to all Avon customers: I have the Tigers Eye Quad, and it looks nothing like the colours shown.
As you can see, the Avon image shows a yellow, a peach, a brown and a purple. The casing is black with gold decoration.
This is the palette I received when I ordered the Tigers Eye Quad. I have checked all labels, etc, and this is most definately the Tigers Eye Quad. While the casing is the same, the colours are yellow, gold, light brown and dark red-brown.
Now, I don't know if they have simply printed the wrong name by mistake, or the wrong picture/s, but please be aware that Tigers Eye in the brochure is not the same as the one I received three campaigns ago. By all means order, but I cannot guarantee which one you will receive, and for this, I apologise.

Some Things to Mull Over...
I guess this is a haul post... I don't know :-)
Anyway, here's a few things I got from Avon recently that I am completely in love with right now!
First up is the Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner. I already had this in Smokey Diamond, which is a grey with glitter, but when I saw five more colours available in C15, I just had to have them! Sadly, I didn't have enough money at the time to buy them all, so I only got two: Twilight Sparkle (blue) and Sugar Plum (purple).
My skin looks awful in the picture above at the moment, I'm suffering from dry skin on my hands because of the cold! I've also battered and bruised my hands throughout the moving process, so please forgive me!
As you can see, they both have a gorgeous glitter in them, making them perfect for spicing up any look. Having said that, I love pretty much anything glittery or sparkly, haha!
I also bought myself a demo of Skin So Soft Mineral Gems Glamorous Gold, which is a dry oil body spray with... you guessed it, real gold sparkles in!
I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but seeing as I am about to jump in the shower, I will give it a go afterwards :-)
Then I bought a demo of Secret Fantasy, which is a new perfume coming out in C17 (I think!).
As you can see, the bottle is this adorable deep pink with a cute little key charm on it. The charm also doubles as a lock for the spray, which is pretty handy! I love this smell, but I haven't quite decided what it actually smells of yet, so I will keep you posted.
And finally, I was sent a special gift for selling £30 worth of Lotus Shield stuff, which was very nice of Avon! My gift included: Anew Clinical Eye Lift (All Ages), Superextend Mascara in black and Glazewear Sparkle lip gloss in Sugar Cane.
Now I am always up for trying free stuff, so I gave them all a go, and I have to say I was very surprised that I actually liked the eye lift! I found that it did brighten up my eyes quite a bit, but I don't know much about sagging or crows feet, as I'm lucky enough not to have any yet! I also loved the mascara, as it really lengthened my lashes with no trouble at all. At first, I wasn't sure about the gloss, because I prefer my pinks to be sheer and the colour looked terribly opaque in the tube. It was also very bright, and as I am not a natural fan of the pink colour anyway, I was tempted to give it away. However, I tried it and I'm glad I did. The colour is very sheer, it's almost more of a sheen than a tint, and I love the glamorous sparkles. It's a very wearable gloss after all, so don't be put off by the brightness of it!

Hi all,
Because of the whole moving house thing I am behind with my brochure deliveries, so I am really sorry about that. There are 13 days left of this campaign, so I will endeavour to catch up as soon as I can. Until then, please accept my humblest apologies!
I do have some fun things to blog about though, so keep your eyes peeled for some reviews and stuff! :)

A quick update...
Hello everyone!
I know I said ages ago about doing some blog posts on a list of things, and I am fully aware that you haven't seen them, and for that, I can only apologise. Sadly things have been getting on top of me recently, as I am in the process of starting up my own business and am now moving house too! I will try my very best to get something from that list up for you, and again, I apologise. I think, as it stands, I will do the reviews and looks that I mentioned, but will not do the haul video. Look out for the post on primers, which will help you to keep your Avon eyeshadows looking bright and beautiful all day long!
Now, as I said, I'm going to be moving house soon, but don't worry, I will be keeping my current territory so nobody will be without Avon :) Having said that, there will probably be a fair amount of disruption over the next two weeks with order collections and deliveries. I will endeavour to keep you all as up-to-date as I possibly can, but moving house is a bit of a mission at the best of times, right?!
If you have any questions you can contact me as normal - however, there may be a few days around the 25th of September where I will not have access to the internet. If it's urgent, you would probably be better off texting or calling me (number is, as always, included on the info slip with your brochures).
Thanks for understanding everyone :)

Christmas Raffle 2010
Christmas Raffle 2010
Starting from Campaign 16 and running all the way through to Campaign 01 (just before Christmas), I am going to be giving all my customers the chance to enter into a special Christmas Raffle. There will be three prizes, the contents of which will be announced shortly. But just to whet your appetite, I can say that the first place prize will be an Avon gift basket, put together by yours truly, and that it will include a Francesca watch. This gift basket would make a lovely present to a loved one, especially as it will arrive on your doorstep before Christmas! Other prizes will include items from the Planet Spa, Senses and Skin So Soft ranges, as well as cute accessories and jewellery items.
All you have to do is spend at least £5 in the brochure and you will receive one ticket. You will then receive a ticket for every £5 you spend over the initial £5 too! You can collect tickets from each of the four Christmas brochures, there are no restrictions to what you can use to make up your minimum spend, and there is no limit to how much you can spend.
You can also buy tickets without spending in the brochure! Each ticket costs 25p, or you can buy a strip of five for £1.
That's not all though, a percentage of the profits will be donated to a charity of your choosing, so keep your eyes peeled for the poll which will be provided soon.
The draw will take place on Monday the 13th of December, which is also my last Avon delivery date before Christmas.

Hints and Tips: Jewellery Care
Hi everyone! Today's blog is going to be about jewellery care. I know it's a little off the make-up topic, but it still constitutes as beauty in some way :-)
Jewellery can make the difference between a good outfit and a great one. Seriously, the right accessories really complete a look, and can be worn to compliment not only the clothes you are wearing, but the make-up you wear or even the way you style your hair. But, let's be honest, how many of us actually think on a daily basis about how we take care of our shiny trinkets? It's very important to keep your jewellery looking tip top in order to get the most out of it, so here's a few quick tips to keep your jewellery looking lovely for longer!
1. Try to keep when and where you wear jewellery in mind.
I know this sounds obvious, but too many of us don't think about how certain situations could damage our jewellery before we get into them. For example, you should definitely avoid wearing rings while gardening, cleaning, or taking part in sport. Not only could they get damaged or dirty, but they could be a danger to you or others. Like the footballer who had his finger pulled off by his own wedding ring during a professional match. Not nice!
2. To avoid tarnishing, ensure that you keep jewellery away from perfume, hairspray, nail polish remover and other such nasties.
Chemicals in these types of products can stain jewellery, and some can have a 'burning' effect. This can leave your jewellery dull, dirty-looking, and just plain ugly. A good idea is to put on all your perfume and such first, allowing them to thoroughly dry before putting your jewellery on.
3. Clean your jewellery regularly using a professional jewellery cleaner.
This one's a bit of a no-brainer. Cleaning your jewellery will keep it shiny and beautiful. Remember to always follow the manufacturers instructions though, jewellery cleaning isn't something you can make up as you go along.
4. Never go swimming in your jewellery.
Chlorine is really bad for jewellery, and can cause discolouration and damage to fixings. It's also really dangerous to swim in jewellery, as they can become caught on any number of things.
5. Keep your jewellery pieces in a separate travel box or bag when on holiday.
This helps to avoid scratches from other items you may be carrying and also means that liquids cannot be spilt on them during transit.

WIN WIN WIN!
Yes, as the title suggests, this campaign (and next for that matter!) is all about winning!
To celebrate Avon's collaboration with 80s fashion house Herve Leger, you have already been offered the chance (from me) to buy this glamorous new designer fragrance before it's official release date, along with a free gift set thrown in for good measure (I still have two of these left by the way - first come first served!).
Now, Avon are offering the opportunity to win big prizes in conjunction with Herve Leger's release of the Femme and Homme fragrances in campaigns 15 and 16 respectively.
Pictured: Herve Leger Femme with Campaign 15's brochure and promotional bookmark.
WIN UP TO £5,000 CASH
When you order a full sized Herve Leger Femme or Herve Leger Homme fragrance from Brochures 15 or 16, you will have the opportunity to enter Avon's amazing prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a first place prize of £5,000 cash, one of ninety other cash prizes or one of 3,000 Avon beauty products.
Just visit http://herve.avonpromotions.com to answer a simple question about your Herve Leger fragrance. All correct entries will be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning one of the amazing prizes mentioned above! Remember - you'll only get one chance to enter, so make sure you have your Herve Leger purchase and Representative's name to hand when answering the question.
T&Cs apply. See www.avon.uk.com for full details. Only one entry for Herve Leger Femme and one for Herve Leger Homme is permitted per customer.
If you do purchase a bottle of Herve Leger Femme or Homme, you will receive a slip with my full details on. This is because for business reasons I have to sign up to Avon with my full name - I prefer not to use it in everyday situations, but you will need it to enter this prize draw. Have this to hand, along with your fragrance, when you visit http://herve.avonpromotions.com.
Good luck to everyone! :-)

Special Announcement
Following the success of collaborations with fashion houses Christian Lacroix and Ungaro, Avon have announced an exciting new partnership with the designer of the iconic 'bandage dress'.
Yep, you got it: the very glamorous Herve Leger - a worldwide phenomenon in the 1980s that pioneered the body-con look, which has now returned to the catwalks for 2010/11.
Herve Leger's Chief Designer, Max Aria, has collaborated with Avon to expand the Designer Perfume collection to include the "Herve Leger" EDP Spray, described as a fragrance that "captures the iconic sensuality and style of Herve Leger, which evokes the innately seductive side of women" (Max Aria, Hello Tomorrow Campaign 15, 2010).
And here's the really good news!
You can get your hands on this new designer fragrance for £20 (50ml, price correct at time of blogging), which is great value for a luxury fragrance! You will be able to buy this from Campaign 15's brochure, when the women's fragrance will be officially launched. A men's version will be launched in C16.
Can't wait that long?
Ten lucky people will have the opportunity to buy Herve Leger before the official release. This means that you will have your very own full-size Herve Leger perfume up to six weeks before anyone else! This is a first-come-first-served offer, so register your interest quickly for a chance to buy your perfume before anybody else!
To register your interest, e-mail me or call/text. Remember, only the first ten people to register will have access to this opportunity, so act fast!

Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been on holiday in Wales, where it rained and I looked after some chickens with five toes! They are so adorable you wouldn't believe it!
Anyway, my video camera is still broken, so I have given in and agreed to use Mark's phone for the time being. It's not ideal, I know, but it means I will be able to show you all the awesome stuff Avon has in store for you guys! Yay!

Campaign 13
Hi all!
This Campaign we have a couple of cool new products for you to try, the first and most important of which being our new Supermagnify Mascara. The cool thing about this mascara is the brush: it has 1000 bristles which wrap around even the smallest of lashes to give you up to 600% more volume than normal brushes (more details in the brochure, page 4). We are also very excited about the new Colour Trend Ice Sheers Lip Balms, which come in three fruity colours and even have their own matching nail polish! They taste pretty good too, which is a good thing!
We are also continuing the Loyalty Scheme, where you have a chance to get yourself a free bathrobe worth £25 if you buy selected discounted products over Campaigns 12 to 14. See the back pages of your brochure for full details.

Review: U for Her by Ungaro (Perfume)
The only reason I am blogging on this now, when in retrospect, U is an older Avon name, is because I am soon to get the new U by Ungaro Fever perfume sample, which really excites me! Now I'm not actually a massive fan of perfume because most mainstream high end perfumes smell terrible on me. Especially the flowery scents! However, I bought perfume from Avon before I became a rep and never had any troubles with it. My favourites were Dream Life (now discontinued), Celebre and U. Dream Life I won't ever touch on as it's not available anymore, though I did love it, and Celebre I will save for another time as that's even older than U! But as I will be reviewing the Fever sample, I thought I'd at least write down something to compare it to.
I haven't actually bought a U bottle in about three years because when I bought my last lot I accidentally ordered two bottles instead of one, and I still had some left in my last bottle too! I don't go through a lot of perfume because I am a sparce spritzer; I don't like my scent to be too strong. So, I'm not sure what the full packaging looks like now, but the bottle is still the same shape as far as I'm aware. As you can see below, mine came in a reflective pink, embossed box with silver detail, which is really cute and girly (not normally my style, but I forgive it because I love the perfume itself!).
The bottle is a lovely sweeping, curvy shape, mimiking the curves of a woman's body. It is a very feminine
bottle shape, and it's girly quality is enhaced by the pink perfume within. On the back of the bottle there is a very faint pink U symbol pattern detail, which adds a nice touch to the bottle when it is emptying. I actually find the shape to be very ergonomic, it's comfortable to hold while spritzing and isn't awkward to manouvre in any way.
U is classified as a floral scent, which surprised me a little because I can't normally wear florals - they usually end up smelling awful on me! However, U is different. It's not massively sweet, but is sweet enought that it doesn't have a bitter tang to it, and it feels very light and fresh to wear. When used sparingly, it has a sophisticated, sensual scent to it, and I would definately recommend using sparingly. Seriously, with this, a little does go a long way - I find that for me, one spray is usually enough for work, two for a night out, when held 3/4 of an arm's length from the body. You honestly don't need more than that, which makes this great value too! Also, holding the bottle at that distance from the body gives a more even coverage of perfume, which is good for the 'passing scent' effect. I don't particularly like random people I don't really know smelling my neck either, so having a bit lightly on your shoulder combats this creepiness! The perfume itself has nine notes in total, including bergamot, lotus flower, and creamy sandlewood, giving a chic and alluring perfume that is difficult to hate.
I am aware that this scent, as with all scents, may not be for everyone, but so far in America, it has a total rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars, with 22 out of 24 reviewers saying they would recommend it to a friend. That's a very good rating!
I love this perfume, and would recommend it any day of the week :)
Want to try U by Ungaro but not sure about buying a full bottle?
No problem! Just ask me for a FREE sample!
I will also soon be sampling U by Ungaro Fever, so if you have previously tried and loved the original U, you can ask me for a free sample of the new fragrance to try for yourself!
Also available: U for Him by Ungaro

Campaign 12 Deadline and Delivery
Hey everyone,
this is just a post to let everyone know the order deadline and delivery details for Campaign 12. I need to have received all order forms by the 14th of July, which is in nine days time. If I don't receive your order before this date, you will have to wait until next campaign to place your order. You will still be able to order from Campaign 12 during Campaign 13, but you will not receive your goods until the Campaign 13 delivery.
As for Campain 12's delivery, the official delivery date is the 20th of July, however, I will be unavailable for personal reasons during this time, so I will be delivering all goods starting from the 24th of July. If you don't receive your orders on the 24th, please don't panic or worry in any way, it just means that I didn't get round to delivering in your area, and I will continue to deliver on the 25th and 26th of July. If you are not in when I try to deliver, I will leave you a little note and try again a couple of days later.
Thanks everyone :)

New in Campaign 12: Lotus Shield
Avon's talk of the town is the new Lotus Shield frizz control solution from the Advance Techniques range. Avon has engaged in a massive advertising campaign for this product - so much so, all the Reps are talking about it! Described as a 'lightweight, leave-in serum' that 'instantly helps smooth and tame, then lasts through two washes', Lotus Shield is being hailed as the breakthrough technology that will give 'Freedom from Frizz', even up to 97% humidity.
The formula is based on the theory of the leaves of the lotus flower, which are water repellant. It uses something called hydrophobic microparticles to envelope the hair and protect with from the water in the air, leaving you frizz-free and silky, which in the weather we've been having, can't be bad!
I personally don't really suffer from frizzy hair, so I haven't actually tried this, but my friend Amy, a fellow Avon girl from down near London, managed to grab herself a bottle and try it out. She loves it, which means it must work! I will link to her blog post about it so you can see her thoughts for yourself. She has also embedded a video from AvonProductsInc onto her blog (I'm not allowed to do this just yet, sorry!), which describes the product technology.
If you suffer from frizzy hair, especially in the humid summer weather, then Lotus Shield is a product you should definately try out!
